Italy police search Telecom Italia manager’s office in private corruption case
Telecom Italia (TIM) said Italy’s finance police had carried out searches on Wednesday morning in the office of a manager of the company as part of an investigation over alleged corruption between individuals.
The group added it was working with investigators and to determine whether the company had been damaged as a result of the alleged actions.
Earlier on Wednesday, Italian newswire Radiocor said prosecutors in Rome had requested searches in the offices and homes of two people, who work for TIM and NTT Data Italia, as part of preliminary investigations.
NTT Data Italia was not immediately available for comment.
