Henan’s aluminum export value ranks 1st nationwide in 1st 3Qs

Luoyang: In the first three quarters of this year, Henan’s exports of unwrought aluminum and aluminum products reached 18.51 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 38.8%, according to Zhengzhou Customs on October 22. The export value ranks first in China, with products exported to 155 countries and regions around the world.

Mexico, Canada, and Australia are the main markets for aluminum products from Henan. Over the past nine months, Henan exported aluminum products worth 3.05 billion yuan to Mexico, 2.11 billion yuan to Canada, and 1.49 billion yuan to Australia, with year-on-year increases of 40.2%, 40.3%, and 16.6%, respectively. Meanwhile, exports to the ASEAN countries and the five Central Asian nations have seen the significant growth. In the first three quarters, Henan exported 2.15 billion yuan and 250 million yuan of aluminum products to these markets, marking year-on-year increases of 45% and 478.4%, respectively.
