Lisbon: Cristiano Ronaldo was honoured with Platinum Quinas Trophy during Quinas de Ouro Gala 2024 on November 11. Ronaldo has featured for Portugal national football team in 213 matches, and is the highest goal-scorer in the history of football.

Regarded as one of the GOATs of football, Cristiano Ronaldo was hounored by the Portuguese Football Federation, where the international star was awarded the prestigious ‘Platinum Quinas Trophy’ during the Quinas de Ouro Gala 2024. The Portuguese Football Federation were partnered with the Professional Football Players’ Union and the National Association of Football Coaches, who jointly organised the ceremony in Lisbon, where Prime Minister Luis Montenegro was in attendance.

Making his debut for Portugal in 2003, aged 18, Ronaldo came through the youth system, and since then appeared in 216 games for the Portuguese national football team. Ronaldo is Portugal’s most-capped football player and sits on top of the all-time top male scorers list, with 133 goals, ahead of Argentina’s Lionel Messi and Iran’s Ali Daei.
