France, Pakistan have excellent diplomatic, political relations: Ambassador Nicolas Galley

Islamabad: French Ambassador to Pakistan Nicolas Galley has said that Pakistan and France currently have excellent diplomatic and political relations.
Economic, trade and diplomatic relations between Pakistan and France will be further promoted, he said.
He expressed these views during a meeting with Sardar Zahoor Iqbal, Chairman of France-Pakistan Business Forum FPBF who called on him at the Embassy.
The Ambassador said, “France valuesPakistan’s efforts for regional peace and stability. Many French companies are investing in Pakistan. Partnership between the private sectors of both countries will be promoted. The resumption of PIA flights will be result oriented in promotion of bilateral cooperation in the fields of public relations, and increasing cooperation in trade and economic sectors.”
He added: “A large number of Pakistani students are studying in France. Visa facilities have been increased for Pakistani students. The establishment of the France-Pakistan Business Forum is important. The establishment of this forum has increased cooperation in the trade sector.”
Ambassador was hopeful that as a result of the recent meetings and consultations between the top leadership, a new era of cooperation will begin soon. He termed bilateral relations much better than before.
Sardar Zahoor Iqbal apprecited the efforts of the ambassador and said Ambassador Nicolas Galey have greatly improved the bilateral relations. Pakistani Ambassador to France Asim Iftikhar also played a key role in this regard.
