PPP solved Pakistan’s crisis: Sherry Rehman

Islamabad: Vice President of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Senator Sherry Rehman, addressed a massive gathering on the 17th death anniversary of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto at Garhi Khuda Bakhsh. In her powerful speech, Senator Rehman paid homage to Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto’s legacy and highlighted her contributions to Pakistan, emphasizing the need to carry forward her vision for a progressive and inclusive nation.

Senator Sherry Rehman stated, “Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto gave Pakistan a vision and a dream, never compromising on her principles and standing resilient in the face of every challenge.“

Reflecting on the values instilled by Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto, Senator Rehman added, “The philosophy of the Pakistan People’s Party is rooted in service, not dominance. Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto taught us to champion the cause of marginalized communities and provide solutions that create lasting change. PPP solved Pakistan’s crisis, no one else.”

She emphasized that the PPP has consistently worked for the welfare of the people, citing key initiatives introduced by the party under its leadership. “The Pakistan People’s Party introduced transformative programs like the Benazir Income Support Program and the Lady Health Worker Program, which continue to benefit millions across the country.”

Senator Rehman underscored the devastation caused by the 2022 floods in Sindh and the party’s ongoing relief efforts. “The floods wreaked havoc across Sindh, but Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is ensuring that the affected families are provided with homes and ownership rights, bringing hope and stability to their lives.”

In her concluding remarks, Senator Rehman emphasized the role of PPP in uniting the nation and addressing its challenges. “Pakistan People’s Party can provide sustainable solutions for Pakistan and put an end to divisive politics.
