President Zardari reiterates resolve to defeat terrorism at all costs

Quetta: President Asif Ali Zardari said Wednesday that the terrorist elements will be defeated at all costs and writ of the state will be ensured in Balochistan.

He was speaking at a meeting to review the overall law and order situation in Balochistan.

Chairman Pakistan People’s Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari also attended the meeting.

Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Ahmed Bugti briefed the meeting about measures taken by the provincial government regarding law-and-order situation in the province.

Addressing the meeting, the President said that terrorists want to divide the nation, but we will not allow them to succeed.

He categorically said that the state will remain there and we will win the war against terrorism.

The President said that modern arms would be provided to the Counter-Terrorism Département and other law enforcement institutions to strengthen security efforts.

He vowed to accelerate development, prosperity in the province and establish peace in the province.

The President expressed his desire to see every child of Balochistan enrolled in school.
