Pakistan Day celebrated with enthusiasm in KP

Peshawar: The Pakistan Day was celebrated across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with great zeal and enthusiasm.In the provincial capital, the day was dawn with a 21-gun salute.
Various events were organised in the provincial capital in connection with the day. The main event was held at the Governor’s House where eminent personalities belonging to different spheres of life were given awards. Flag-hoisting ceremonies and walks were also held in connection with the day.
In Charsadda, Pakistan Day was celebrated under the supervision of the district administration. Various events were organised across the district, where prayers were offered for the prosperity and stability of the nation.
The main event, organised by the district administration, took place at Begum Naseem Social Welfare Complex, where students from various government and private schools of Tehsil Charsadda participated in national song performances and speech competitions.

The ceremony was attended by Deputy Commissioner Qaiser Khan, Assistant Commissioner Riaz, Assistant Commissioner Waqas-ur-Rehman, Additional Assistant Commissioner Sonia Naz, and heads of various government institutions.
Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Commissioner Qaiser Khan highlighted the sacrifices made by the ancestors for the independence of Pakistan. He emphasized that every citizen must play an active role in the progress and development of the country.
“The purpose of celebrating this day is to express love for our nation and renew our commitment to the development and prosperity of Pakistan,” he said.The event concluded with a patriotic spirit, leaving a strong message of unity and dedication among the participants.
Rallies and functions were held in Lakki Marwat and Bannu districts to mark Pakistan Day celebrations with national enthusiasm and fervor.In Lakki Marwat, Brigadier Imran along with additional Deputy Commissioner Habibullah Wazir performed the flag-hoisting ceremony at the deputy commissioner’s compound. Police, army and district administration officials, local elders, and students were present on the occasion.
Army and police contingents presented a salute to the national flag. The Education Department and Boys Scouts Association jointly arranged a function at Government Shaheed Muhammad Ghassan Khan Centennial Model High School No. 1, Lakki city.
Col Ahmad along with DEO Shaukat Ali Khan performed the flag hoisting while a contingent of boy scouts presented a salute to the national flag.
Students sang patriotic songs, presented tableaus and delivered speeches.Trophies and cash prizes were distributed among students.Divisional commissioner Muhammad Ali Shah led a rally in Bannu to mark the day with national zeal and zest.
The divisional commissioner said that the Pakistan Day provided us the opportunity to renew our pledge that we would not hesitate to make any sacrifice for the protection, development, prosperity and stability of our homeland.
