Islamabad: Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Attaullah Tarar has said demand of PTI founder for an open trial of Lieutenant General (Retired) Faiz Hameed is interference in the affairs of Pakistan Army.
In a statement, he said founding Chairman of PTI is constantly trying to make this matter controversial through his statements.
The Information Minister said PTI founder, who has given a statement in defence of Faiz Hameed, should first answer to the case of 190 million pounds. He said such statements of PTI founder reflect his frustration.
Attaullah Tarar said PTI founder chairman, while not describing the case of Faiz Hameed as internal issue of Pakistan Army, has proved that Faiz Hameed was indeed an asset of PTI founding Chairman.
The Minister said the Faiz Hameed case indicates that founding Chairman of PTI does not fear about throwing people away after their use.
