Imran Khan a threat to national security: Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar
Islamabad: Senator Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar, the spokesman to the Chairman Pakistan People’s Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, has said that PM Imran Khan should be banned from going on international visits as his numerous previous visits have proved that they are harmful for the country.
Senator Khokhar said that instead of fighting his country’s cases, PM Imran Khan turns against the country when on foreign visits and that it becomes an excuse for Indian media to ridicule Pakistan.
Previously, when he had gone to Iran he had accused his own country of being a terrorist state and now he has made Pakistan a laughing stock yet again. During his recent US visit, he has accused Pakistan Army and ISI to have trained Al-Qaeda, he reminded.
Senator Khokhar said that at least Imran Khan should be banned from holding press conferences or delivering speeches while abroad.
He said that foreign minister himself is an aspirant to be a prime minister so he cannot be trusted. It is possible that Shah Mehmood Qureshi intentionally puts PM Imran on wrong track.
Moreover, he said that this is the height of irresponsibility from a country’s representative. PM Imran Khan needs to understand the difference between a container and an international forum. He concluded by saying that PM Imran’s foreign visits are a threat to national security.
