McKennie’s Foundation hosts first event in Italy

Rome: Weston McKennie’s Foundation, Magical Youth Mission, hosted its first event in Italy.

USMNT and Juventus midfielder McKennie hosted the first-ever Italian event of his foundation, McKennie’s Magical Youth Mission, in Turin on Friday.

The organisation is dedicated to empowering underserved youth through mentorship, education, and expanded access to football. The foundation strives to inspire the next generation to dream big by creating opportunities for growth and joy.

The Christmas event was organised in Turin on Friday, December 20, in partnership with Salesiani per il sociale to provide 100 underserved youth with holiday gifts.

McKennie spoke to reporters about his time at Juventus during the event.

“I am happy at Juve, I like living in Turin, I’ve been here for four years and want to stay for as long as possible, but it also depends on the club,” he said.

“When I first arrived, I was told Juve would be too big for me, but I do everything I can to change people’s minds.”
