Appropriate medical facilities Zardari’s right: Nafisa Shah

Islamabad: Dr. Nafisa Shah the Information Secretary Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarianshas said the government is shying away from its responsibility to provide medical facilities to President Asif Ali Zardari.

Ms. Shah in a statement said that not giving access to Asif Ali Zardari’s personal doctors is a conspiracy and not forming private medical board amounts to political victimization of President Zardari. This is playing with the life of former President of Pakistan, she said.

The lawmaker said that keeping Zardari in jail without conviction is also worst kind of unjust act.

“Demand of formation of Private medical board is not a concession but a right. Provision of appropriate medical facility is the right of every citizen of Pakistan,” she concluded.
