Saudi FM holds talks with Pakistani leaders
Islamabad: Foreign Minister of Saudi Arabia Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al-Saud met Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan in Islamabad and discussed bilateral and regional matters.
Earlier the Saudi foreign minister held talks with his Pakistani counterpart Shah Mehmood Qureshi on bilateral and regional matters, officials said.
Both the foreign ministers agreed to continue consultations on key regional issues including the Kashmir problem, the Foreign Ministry of Pakistan said.
Qureshi said both countries are committed to further strengthen in different fields.
This is his maiden visit to Pakistan, during which the exchange of views would cover bilateral matters and regional issues of mutual interest, a foreign ministry statement said.
“Pakistan and Saudi Arabia enjoy a deep-rooted and longstanding fraternal relationship. The two countries are committed to further strengthening bilateral cooperation in all fields. Frequent high-level visits are a key feature of the relationship and serve to further deepen and broaden mutual collaboration,” the statement said.
