1st death in Pakistan coronavirus suspect

First death in Pakistan due to Coronavirus as a patient has died in Lahore. According to sources, the patient was undergoing treatment at Mayo Hospital in Lahore, which was identified as Ghulam Imran.

Sources said that the victim was a resident of Hafizabad and had returned from Iran via Taftan Border, who spent 14 days in Quarantine.

Sources said that Ghulam Imran was brought to Mayo Hospital last night in a critical condition and was kept in the ICU but there was no ventilator facility.

Sources further said that doctors are suspecting that it may be the first casualty of the Coronavirus in Pakistan.

Spokesman Punjab Government said that Ghulam Imran was brought to the Mayo hospital in critical condition last night. His blood was sent to Islamabad for test samples. The actual cause of death will be ascertained on the arrival of the test report today.
