PPP accuses govt of misusing NAB

Islamabad: Deputy Information Secretary Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Palwasha Khan has strongly condemned the alleged targeting National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (NICVD) by the federal government.

Palwasha Khan in a statement said that hospitals on VICVD provide free treatment of heart, cancer, kidney and liver problems and people from whole Pakistan benefit from these hospitals.

“Imran Khan is resentful of these hospitals as he does not want free treatment to the poor people. she said that NAB’s use against these hospitals is shameful,” she said.

She added: “The government is using NAB for political victimisation. The use of NAB against NICVD amounts to deprive poor people of free medical treatment.”
