Islamabad: Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has strongly condemned 2-year long imprisonment of Syed Khurshid Ahmad Shah in NAB cases at the hands of regime adding that implicating a senior lawmaker as well as his family members in fictitious cases is another sheer example of the worst political victimization of the Selected rulers.

In a statement issued by the Media Cell Bilawal House on the completion of two years of party’s MNA Syed Khurshid Ahmad Shah’s NAB captivity, PPP chairman said that the NAB cases against Shah and his imprisonment without conviction is a worst kind of mockery of the law, adding that the people of Sukkur have been deprived of representation in the Parliament as their elected MNA has been a prisoner of the NAB for the last two years. “The government do not tolerate having senior parliamentarians like Syed Khurshid Ahmad Shah as their critic present in the House”, he added.

Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that Syed Khurshid Ahmad Shah should be released without delay as the aged MNA is unwell besides innocent. “I am Hopeful, the courts will do justice to Syed Khurshid Ahmad Shah and the voters of Sukkur”, he added.

Chairman PPP said that political victimization by the rulers under the guise of accountability is an stinking corpse which must be buried without delay.
