Begum Nusrat Bhutto is symbol of courage, bravery and sacrifices: Rehman Malik

Islamabad: Former Interior Minister and senior leader of PPP Senator A. Rehman Malik has paid homage to Begum Nusrat Bhutto on her death anniversary.

“Today we pay our great tribute to Begum Nusrat Bhutto. He said that she sacrificed her husband Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Shaheed, sons Mir Murtaza Bhutto and Shahnawaz Bhutto, and her brave daughter Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto for this country, nation and democracy,” he said.

The PPP leader said she was symbol of courage and her sacrifices are unprecedented in the history of Pakistan.

Rehman Malik said that Begum Nusrat Bhutto “fought the Zia-ul-Haq’s dictatorship and bravely faced every difficulty.” He said “The struggle and courage of Nusrat Bhutto and Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Shaheed is a beacon for Pakistani women”.
