Italy: Health Undersecretary says “we hope to have stadiums 100% filled
Rome: The Undersecretary for Health in Italy, Andrea Costa, has said that he hopes stadiums will be open to 100% capacity by the Italy-North Macedonia match on March 24, according to a report in the Italian broadcast media.
Speaking during an interview on Radio 24, via FCInternews, the Undersecretary for Health explained that it is very achievable for stadiums in Italy to be fully open by the end of March but there is a chance it will be done in time for Italy’s first World Cup playoff match.
“100% stadium capacity is an absolutely achievable goal of the government for March 31, but I take responsibility for saying that we have to make an extra effort. On March 24 we have the national team match in Palermo and I think we can try to think about having 100% for that game.”
