11 killed, nine injured van collided with a truck in Mastung District on Tuesday.

QUETTA: 11 people have been killed while nine others were injured when a passenger van collided with a truck in Ganja Dhuri area of Mastung District on Tuesday.

According to reports, the passenger van was on its way to Quetta from Karachi when it lost control on Sindh-Balochistan bypass and collided with the truck resulting in the death of at least 11 people including women and children.

Soon after the incident, rescue teams arrived and shifted the deceased and the injured to nearby hospitals.

Sources said the accident occurred due to slippery roads after heavy rains in the area.
