Ambassador Zahid Hafeez Chaudhri , Ambassador Asim Iftikhar Ahmed condole death of Shafqat Ali’s father

Islamabad: Pakistani envoys to Australia and France have condoled the death of senior journalist Shafqat Ali’s father.

In his message to Shafqat Ali, Pakistani High Commissioner to Australia Zahid Hafeez Chaudhri wrote:Saddened on passing away of your beloved father.”

He added: “May Allah Subhana Wa Ta’ala rest him in eternal peace and give and the family strength to cope. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family brother. Indeed to Allah Subhana Wa Ta’ala we all belong and to Him we all shall return.”

Separately, Pakistan’s Ambassador to France Asim Iftikhar Ahmed said: “We have been deeply grieved at the news of passing away of your beloved father. It is an irreparable loss for the family. No words can bring solace at the loss of such loved ones. All our prayers and thoughts are with you. May Allah give you strength and fortitude to bear this loss, and may the departed soul rest in peace in Jannah.”
