More than 47,000 immigrants arrived in Italy coming from Libya
Rome: Recent data issued by the Italian Ministry of the Interior revealed the arrival of 47,300 illegal immigrants from Libya, since the beginning of 2023.
Data issued here showed that about 30,000 of these immigrants left from the western region, while the remaining number arrived from the eastern region, according to the Italian news agency Nova.
Italy received 95,000 immigrants through the Tunisian route, at a rate of 300 immigrants per day, which is a very large increase compared to 2022, which recorded the arrival of only 32,000 immigrants, according to data seen by Nova.
