Fourth round of Pakistan-China Maritime Dialogue held

Islamabad: The 4th round of Pakistan-China Maritime Dialogue held Thursday in Islamabad was co-chaired by DG (China) Aamir Khan and DDG Wang Jinfeng of Chinese MFA.
The two sides expressed satisfaction at the ongoing cooperation in maritime domain and agreed to further expand naval exchanges, strengthen maritime science and technology cooperation, promote blue economy, collaborate in fisheries, search and rescue missions and jointly advance their shared vision for a peaceful and prosperous Asia-Pacific.
DDG Wang Jinfeng also called on Additional Foreign Secretary (Asia-Pacific), Ambassador Imran Ahmed Siddiqui @AmbImranS. Additional Foreign Secretary expressed satisfaction at ongoing Pakistan-China maritime cooperation and accepted invitation to visit China next year for the 5th round of Pakistan-China Maritime Dialogue.
