Sino-Pak Joint Diploma in Modern Agricultural Technology expected to further strengthen Pakistan-China agricultural relations
Faisalabad: Speakers at an orientation session for students admitted to the Sino-Pak Joint Diploma in Modern Agricultural Technology at the Community College of the University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF) expressed the belief that this program would further strengthen agricultural relations between Pakistan and China.
Among the attendees were Peng Dongjun, President of Bailie Vocational College (BVC), China; Chen Haiyu, Director of International Cooperation and Exchange Office; Tang Weijie, Dean of Modern Agriculture College, BV; Xie Husheng, staff of International Cooperation and Exchange; UAF Community College Principal Dr. Anjum Zia; Yasir Shakur; Dr. Athar Mehmood; Dr. Shafiqur Rehman, and others.
On this occasion, Peng Dongjun highlighted that the joint diploma would provide students with opportunities to benefit from the expertise of scientists from both countries, paving the way for a promising future.
In his comments, Dr Anjum Zia mentioned that the second batch of this joint diploma program had joined the campus.
Students will spend the first two years studying at the University of Agriculture and the third year in China.
He emphasized that this diploma is unique and will equip students to contribute to agricultural development through education in modern agricultural technology.
