Zardari vows to address people’s problems
Dera Bugti: Pakistan People’s Party Parliamentarians (PPPP) President and former President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari has vowed that the upcoming PPP government after the upcoming general elections will address the problems faced by the people of Balochistan and will focus on their development and progress, adding that the PPP has fulfilled whatever promises it has made.
While addressing a gathering in Dera Bugti by telephone, the former president said that the PPP understands the problems of Balochistan. He said that whether it is the problem of hospitals or gas in Balochistan, PPP government will solve all the problems, adding that the incoming PPP government would take steps that would pave the way for employment and income opportunities to the people of Balochistan.
Addressing the public meeting, former caretaker federal interior minister and PPP leader Sarfraz Bugti said that the PPP would form the government in Balochistan by securing a clear majority in the general elections due on Feburary 8.
He said the PPP has always raised voice for rights and betterement of the poor and farmers. He said that the heir of the martyrs is the Pakistan People’s Party. He said that the heirs of the martyrs should never think that they have become isolated, because Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and President Asif Ali Zardari are the heirs of the families of the martyrs.
Earlier, thousands of tribals from far-flung areas of Dera Bugti and surroundings attended the public meeting.
