IMF expects Italy to have moderate growth in coming years

Rome: The International Monetary Fund (IMF) said Monday that, while the Italian economy recovered well from the effects of the COVID pandemic and the recent energy price shocks, it forecasts only “moderate growth for the coming years”.

It said that while “positive surprises could materialize” there were downside risks for growth too.
