Indian action against Kashmir condemned
Islamabad: Senator Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar, the spokesman to the Chairman PPP, has said that revoking the independent status of Indian-occupied Kashmir is a move which can ruin the peace of the subcontinent and cause tension between the two nuclear powers in the region.
Senator Khokhar said that the tearing down the special status of Indian-occupied Kashmir is a blatant
violation of international rules as well as the resolutions of United Nations. He said that the international community has been silent regarding the tyranny of Indian military in Kashmir. Indian PM Modi is the first leader who has tampered with the independent status of Kashmir and this extremist mindset will only escalate issues.
Senator Khokhar said that if the federal government decides to raise this issue on an international level, then PPP will fully support it.
